Murray Caldwell - MC SAILS
Murray has been making sails for over 20 years. He started his career in the late 90's with Hood Sailmakers and later ran Nicolson Hughes for many years. Coming from a boat building family he has sailed for most of his life and can be seen on the water in his spare time both on the race course and cruising with his family.
New Sails
Murray can advise on the most suitable cloth for your new sail, After fabric has been chosen all our sails are computer designed and cut using a laser or blade automated cutter and then manufactured in his purpose built sail loft. Although we are a small production loft we have the machines to tackle any sail. Murray's machines range from a dedicated spinnaker machine to our Solent XL with the very large underarm clearance
